About YogaFX: A Decade of Teaching Yoga in North Bali
YogaFX has been training teachers and guiding retreats from Bali for over a decade. We are not a travel agency reselling someone else's programme, we are the school that wrote it, the teachers who lead it, and the team that will meet you at the airport.
Our Story
YogaFX began as a Bikram-method hot yoga school in Bali and grew into one of the world's leading teacher-training academies. Over the years we have certified hundreds of teachers from more than forty countries, earning over six hundred verified five-star reviews along the way.
The 6-Day Exclusive Detox & Burnout Retreat is the distillation of everything we have learned: about heat and the nervous system, about food and inflammation, and about why busy professionals need structure, not just a holiday, to truly recover.
Why North Bali
We chose North Bali deliberately. Away from the traffic and crowds of the south, the north keeps the Bali that first drew yogis here: terraced hillsides, empty waterfalls, natural hot springs and villages where ceremony is still part of daily life. It is quieter, greener and far better suited to deep rest.

YogaFX's 6-Day Exclusive Detox & Burnout Retreat
YogaFX's six-day retreat is a structured, neuroscience-informed reset for burned-out professionals ready to step away from unhealthy coping loops.
In a private North Bali sanctuary, the programme combines hot yoga, sauna, hydrotherapy, cold-water immersion and somatic nervous-system practices.
Balinese ceremony and nature are woven through the retreat, from the Welcome Puja and Fire Ceremony to forest bathing and a sacred waterfall trek.
Individuals, couples, business partners and close friends are welcome. Each intake is limited to 20 guests and includes luxury accommodation, chef-prepared Cellular Cleanse Nutrition and VIP concierge support.
Most Bali Retreats Are Resold by Travel Agencies Who Have Never Met Your Host Manager.

Because we train instructors, every element of these 6 days, the heat exposure, the anti-inflammatory food, the sequencing of rest against effort, is something we can explain, expand and adjust individually. Nothing is outsourced to a vendor whose name you will never learn.

Before founding YogaFX, Mr. Ian spent 5 years training under his guru as a staff member through intensive 9-week Hot Yoga trainings. He has since taught and trained students from around the world, including the United States, UK, China, Spain, Thailand, Dubai, India, Australia and Moscow. He is a Master Yoga Teacher Trainer and was most recently appointed Master Trainer by the Indonesian Yogasana Sports Federation.
As founder of YogaFX, Mr. Ian leads this Retreat personally every day. He is not a name on a brochure who appears for the opening ceremony before handing you to an assistant. With a limit of 20 guests, he can follow your progress from day 2 and adjust day 4 accordingly.
His work sits between casual wellness tourism and clinical rehabilitation: structured enough to create a meaningful physiological reset, yet human enough that you are treated as a person, not a protocol.

Mr Ian, our founder and lead teacher, holds the E-500 Hr RYT designation, the highest experience tier registered with Yoga Alliance, alongside specialist training in hot yoga methodology and nervous system recovery. He is also Certified in Applied Neuroscience & Brain Health, an ICF and NBHWC Continuing Education Provider. He has taught daily in Bali with more than 12,000 hours of hands-on experience and has been featured on Bali TV for his work in the local wellness community.
Around him is a hand-picked team: certified breathwork coaches, licensed Balinese massage therapists, sound healing practitioners and local guides who grew up among the waterfalls and temples you will visit. Every person who touches your Retreat is qualified, insured and known to us personally.
